Expanding what’s possible in polarized spaces.

I'M ZACH

I come from a tradition committed to safeguarding human dignity and a lineage shaped by ancestral memories of displacement and fear.

My ancestors' stories of survival taught me the dangers of dehumanization and polarization. My personal experiences showed me how inclusion, belonging, and safety can be nurtured through innovative education.

My entire life, I've been driven by a desire to empower people to nurture communication and compassion across differences.

As the co-founder of Project Shema, I helped shape a national approach to antisemitism education rooted in depolarization, compassion, and storytelling.

Now, independently, I work to help organizations and leaders customize approaches to antisemitism and polarization with compassion, nuance, and relational depth.

My work sits at the intersection of antisemitism & Jewish identity education, storytelling, depolarization, and conflict transformation.

I deliver workshops, facilitate town halls, keynote conferences, design/audit curriculum, coach leaders, and provide rapid response to institutions in crisis.

"Thank you for the incredibly powerful training sessions you led for us over the last two days. We are incredibly grateful for the expertise, insights, wisdom, education, and sensitivity you bring to this critical conversation. I know for certain that our colleagues around the world have benefited tremendously from these learning experiences."

"I just had the privilege of learning from Zach in one of his 4-hour sessions for staff. He was so good in all the ways that matter: personable, vulnerable, credible, approachable, and deeply knowledgeable, handling questions with care and aplomb. We were in such good hands, and the sessions are being so well-received across a very diverse group of staff at the School."
